The five Caribbean citizenship programs — St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, and Antigua & Barbuda — look similar at first glance. All offer citizenship in under a year for a qualifying contribution or real estate investment.
The first differentiator is family composition. Antigua & Barbuda's pricing favours larger families; Grenada and Antigua & Barbuda both extend eligibility to unmarried siblings of the main applicant or spouse, and St. Lucia to unmarried siblings under 18, while Dominica does not cover siblings at all.
The second is what the citizenship does for your specific plans. Grenada's E-2 treaty eligibility matters enormously to families with US business ambitions — and not at all to anyone else.
The third is track record and processing style. St. Kitts & Nevis has run its program since 1984 and is widely treated as the industry benchmark.
Start from your goals, not the price list. The cheapest program that doesn't fit your family costs more than the right one.
