Many expat passports need embassy appointments for routine travel. Some Caribbean citizenships carry wide visa-free travel; it differs by program, so each program page sets out its own.
UAE residence is a permit — excellent, but tied to visas, employment, or investments. Citizenship is a legal status you hold in your own right, subject only to the granting country's nationality law, and it travels with you whatever changes.
A second citizenship passes to your children and, in most programs, to theirs. Residence permits never do — each generation must qualify anew.

One question deserves a straight answer first: the UAE does not offer citizenship by investment. The UAE Golden Visa grants outstanding long-term residence — Emirati citizenship cannot be applied for or purchased. Indian nationals: India does not permit dual citizenship. Taking a second citizenship means renouncing Indian citizenship — with the OCI card preserving lifelong access to India afterwards. Some families conclude it is worth it; others don't. We lay out the trade-off plainly before anything is signed.
Pakistani nationals: Pakistan recognizes dual citizenship only with a defined list of countries published by the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports. Outside that list, taking another nationality can affect your Pakistani citizenship. The position for your specific case is reviewed with Pakistani nationality counsel before anything is signed.
All nationalities: whether your home country permits, tolerates, or prohibits dual citizenship is the first question of the engagement — answered with counsel where needed, never assumed.

Yes. Eligibility depends on your nationality and background, not on where you live. Residents of the UAE apply to programs such as St. Kitts & Nevis, Grenada, Dominica, St. Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda, or Türkiye exactly as they would from anywhere.
Generally no. The Caribbean programs are processed remotely with no visit required (Antigua & Barbuda asks for five days within five years of citizenship). Türkiye requires one visit for biometrics. Your life and work in the UAE continue uninterrupted.
No. Your UAE residence visa — including a Golden Visa — remains exactly as it is. Many clients hold both: long-term UAE residence for daily life, and a second citizenship for permanence and travel. The two solve different problems and work well together.
India does not permit dual citizenship: acquiring another nationality means renouncing Indian citizenship, after which the OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card preserves lifelong visa-free access to India and most practical rights. It is a significant, personal decision — we walk through it candidly before any application.
