A person aged 18 or over who makes a prescribed qualifying investment may apply, through an authorised agent, to be registered as a citizen of Saint Lucia. Section 36(6) grants registered citizens all the rights of a citizen — including exemption from the Alien (Licensing) Act — once the Board approves the application after due diligence.
