The 2018 and 2019 amendments to Egypt's nationality law allow the direct grant of nationality to foreign investors through a treasury contribution, registered real estate, a business investment, or a central-bank deposit, with the current amounts set by the 2023 decree. All qualifying funds must originate abroad in foreign currency.
